“Now then, give me this hill country about which the LORD spoke on that day, for you 

heard on that day that Anakim were there, 

with great fortified cities; perhaps the LORD 

will be with me, and I will drive them out 

as the LORD has spoken.”

OUTLINE

I.  No matter our age, despite the peer pressure, we should always follow the LORD fully. (Joshua 14:8)

II.  When we follow God’s plan for our lives, even though we may face trials, our lives will always have blessings and a sense of peace. (Joshua 14:9)

III. Age may limit our physical body, but when you have a sold-out heart for God, nothing is impossible! 

(Joshua 14:12)

I have found that God’s plan is always better than mine. However, at times, I take control and do it my way, and that never ends well. My suggestion is to always follow God’s will for your life, and the rest will work out.
