EVERY DAY IS A DAY FROM THE LORD

KEY VERSE

Psalm 118:24

This is the day which the LORD has made;

Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

I. God is worthy of our praise because He loves us and takes care of us if we just turn to Him. (Ps 118:1-4, 2 Chr 5:13, 7:3; Ezra 3:11; Ps 100:5, 136:1–26 )

II. We need to trust the LORD over everything and everyone in our lives. (Ps 118:5-9; Ps 40:4; 108:12; Is 31:1, 3; 57:13; Jer 17:5)

III. The LORD God is our only when the enemy attacks, God is our Saviour and nothing or no one else can do what God can do! (Ps 118 10-13; Ex 15:2; Is 12:2; Ps 27:1)

IV. The Lord is worthy of praise only, and His ways should not be questioned, for the creation should not question its creator. (Ps 118:21; Rom 9:20–21; Isa 29:16; 45:9; Eccles 11:5)

V. Rejoice in every day because each day is a gift from God – even the tough days. (Ps 118:22-24; 31:7; Phil 4:3; Rom. 12:12; Isa: 61:10)

VI. We are blessed because we have chosen God over the world. (Ps 118: 25-29; James 1:17; 2 Cor. 9:8)

Every day we experience the beauty of God's creation is a blessing. Some days are better than others, and some days can be quite difficult. During those challenging times, remember this: “The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed” (Deut 31:8). So, instead of looking down, look up to God!
