Romans 12:1

“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.” 

OUTLINE

I. OFFER YOURSELVES COMPLETELY TO GOD (Romans 12:1)

II. BE A HUMBLE SERVANT-WARRIOR (Romans 12:2,3)

III. UNDERSTANDING WE ARE A BIG FAMILY WITH MANY TALENTS (Romans 12:4-8)

IV. BE A FAMILY THAT SINCERELY LOVES EACH OTHER (Romans 12:9,10)

V. EACH FAMILY MEMBER IS WILLING TO PULL THEIR OWN WEIGHT (Romans 12:11-13)

VI. AS A FAMILY, WE ARE TO BLESS, REJOICE, AND SUFFER WITH OTHERS IN OUR HUMBLENESS (Romans 12:14-16)

VII. ABOVE ALL, DO WHAT IS RIGHT (Romans 12:17-21)

Either on our own or with family, we are to be at peace with all, never paying back evil for evil – treat others as you would like to be treated. Never forgetting that vengeance is not ours to implement; instead, it is the right of our God to distribute vengeance on those whom He chooses.
